Two Penang Hill annual events cancelled due to COVID-19

GEORGE TOWN (July 6): Two annual events scheduled to be held at the Penang Hill this year have been cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In a press statement by the Penang Hill Corporation (PHC), the two events are the Penang Hill Heritage Forest Challenge and the Trash Free Hill, which originally scheduled for August 23 and Sept 27 respectively.

“Both events will resume in 2021 and dates will be announced accordingly,” it said.
