Video of 'Malaysian' hitting Nepali guard with truncheon going viral

KUALA LUMPUR (July 31): A video “that appeared” to reveal a Malaysian male repeatedly hitting a Nepali security guard with a truncheon is being heavily shared on social media.

A Malay Mail report stated that the video shows someone that looks like a local man and speaking in the national language “continually battering” the Nepali guard with a truncheon and even punching him in “an unidentified car park”.

The report also stated that the “unseen person making the video” was speaking in “a language resembling Hindi”.

The video also showed that the guard did not retaliate and “only flinched” while trying to protect himself from the blows.

“I’m being nice to you and what do I get in return? You think you’re some big shot? What’s your problem,” the man shouted as he rained blows on the guard.

The video was posted on Facebook by a user dubbed “Sq soul7” .

The newsportal also reported that a Twitter user later reposted the video, saying it was going viral in Nepal.
