Kejuruteraan Asastera accepts contracts worth RM17.58m

KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 12): Kejuruteraan Asastera Bhd (KAB) has accepted two letters of appointment (LOAs) with a total contract sum of RM17.58 million from China Communications Construction Company (M) Sdn Bhd.

In a bourse filing, KAB said it will act as the nominated subcontractor for supply, installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of electrical and extra low voltage services to Core Residences Project @ TRX (main building and external works) for Core Precious Development Sdn Bhd on three blocks of serviced apartments.

It said the contracts will commence today with completion expected by Aug 12, 2022.

KAB said the LOAs are expected to contribute positively to its future earnings for the duration of the contracts.

At midday break today, KAB fell 3.81% or four sen to RM1.01, valuing it at RM934.83 million.
