KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 2): Sunway Hotels & Resorts has signed a three-year agreement with hospitality technology solutions provider Amadeus to deliver a comprehensive technology solution which enables them to streamline reservations and loyalty programmes across Sunway Group's 11 independent properties in Malaysia, Cambodia and Vietnam.
In a joint statement yesterday, both parties said as part of the three-year agreement, the hotel group will implement Amadeus' iHotelier® central reservation system, guest management solutions, and website management solutions in various phases.
"Collectively, these products will consolidate and organise important guest and operational data as well as provide actionable insights," they said.
Sunway Group senior managing director for the chairman's office Datuk Tan Kia Loke said the collaboration with Amadeus would lower the group's overall operational cost, while having access to the capabilities it needs to deliver a wide array of offerings to the guests.
"By consolidating all guests' data and providing valuable insights on individual guest profiles, the solutions allow us to create personalised and memorable experiences, which will help towards increasing the frequency of returning guests, " he said.
Meanwhile, Amadeus' head of commercial, hospitality for the Asia Pacific, Maria Taylor, said the firm provides agile, industry-leading solutions that allow hospitality companies to make data-driven decisions that help drive profitable demand, improve operational efficiency, and increase loyalty.
