KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 9): Former English soccer star David Beckham (pictured), and wife, Victoria were infected with the Covid-19 virus back in March, according to a report by UK daily, The Sun.

The report stated that the famous couple “likely caught the bug during their stay in Los Angeles in March”.

Sources told the tabloid that David and Victoria went to the US on March 1 “to cheer for his football club Inter Miami”.

The same report revealed that they were “joined by” celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay and the couple’s son Brooklyn and his fiancée, actress Nicola Peltz.

David and Victoria started to feel after their return to the UK, “with Victoria having a sore throat and high temperature”. They were later found to have been infected by Covid-19.

The source added that “the family's drivers, bodyguards and assistants also fell ill at about the same time”.
