The management of Sunway Pyramid Mall has been made aware of one Covid-19 case on 26/9/2020, involving one staff of Nike outlet at first floor of mall who had a travelling history.

We would like to assure all tenants, vendors and customers that the case is an isolated case and has been attended to immediately upon identification, together with the affected tenant in full compliance with the Ministry of Health (MOH) guidelines.

MOH has also reached out to those who have had close contact with the affected, and have been ordered to do screening and self-quarantine. The case is well managed and under control due to the swift actions taken by the tenant together with the authorities.

Sunway Pyramid Mall has immediately carried out and completed deep cleaning, thorough disinfection as well as sanitisation throughout the premises; and is increasing the frequency of such processes on a daily basis.

We have also been working closely with the affected tenant to coordinate holistically the completion of deep sanitization work, as well as securing timely and accurate updates to address the matter effectively and efficiently.

The mall and its personnel have been trained to apply the highest standards and protocol for hygiene and sanitation in accordance with the MOH safety and health guidelines on Covid-19.

As we continue to closely monitor the developments, we would like to encourage all visitors, tenants and our communities to remain calm and vigilant during this time, and adopt good personal hygiene practices.
