KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 8): The Yang di-Pertuan Agong has granted an audience to Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim (pictured), according to a media statement found on the Facebook of the PKR president.

“I would like to express my gratitude to His Majesty for granting me an audience to meet on Tuesday, October 13, 2020, Insha’Allah,” Anwar said in the statement.

Anwar said that he “will present documentation of the strong and convincing majority of MPs as I mentioned earlier”.

He also mentioned about the King’s ailment saying “Alhamdulillah I am grateful to Allah because with His bounty and permission His Majesty the Yang di-Pertuan Agong has recovered from the recent illness”.

“I ask all Malaysians to remain calm, protect their health and continue to pray from their homes and workplaces and follow the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO) procedures,” Anwar said.
