KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 11): A security staff stationed at the 3 Damansara mall’s Fire Command Centre has tested positive for Covid-19 infection today.

“The said employee has not reported for work since Oct 9, 2020, after a household member tested positive for Covid-19.

“We have immediately conducted deep cleaning and thorough sanitisation of the areas frequented by the employee,” the mall’s management stated in a media release.

Meanwhile, mall staff who have had close contact with the infected worker have all tested negative for the virus.

The mall management added that the staff concerned will also undergo a 14-day self-quarantine to be followed by another test to ensure they are all fit for work.

It was reported earlier today that there were also positive cases at The Gardens Mall, Mid Valley Megamall and Bangsar Shopping Centre.
