PETALING JAYA (Oct 17): The Curve mall here has detected a Covid-19 case from one of its tenants.

In a statement issued by the mall’s management yesterday, a staff at the Foot Solutions shop tested positive for the coronavirus yesterday.

“The said employee contacted us today, Oct 16, 2020 and immediately upon hearing the case, we made the necessary arrangement to have the mall sanitised and clean thoroughly tonight,” said the statement yesterday in the mall’s Facebook.

“The individual’s colleagues were then given the swab test and they have all tested negative.

“They are currently under self-quarantine for 14 days, and will only be allowed to return to work if they all test negative again at the end of the 14-day period, and subject to our management’s approval.

“We would like to assure our customers, tenants and visitors that your health and safety are of utmost importance. We will continue to take necessary preventive and precautionary measures,” the statement added.

The mall has reopened again at 10am today.
