KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 28): The Burnin' Pit restaurant located at Desa Sri Hartamas has been temporarily closed from today until further notice.

The restaurant announced in a statement that this is because of “a positive Covid-19 case involving a patron, connected to yesterday’s golf course case at our restaurant”.

Burnin' Pit did not elaborate which golf course was “connected” to the Covid-19 case.

During the closure, the restaurant will “undertake intensive sanitisation” while “all our staff are undergoing Covid-19 testing in full compliance of the Ministry of Health (MOH) guidelines” said the statement.

Burnin' Pit is a family friendly barbecue restaurant serving Texas BBQ style cuisine, smoked meats and seafood.
