KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 28): Staff at the Royal Selangor Golf Club on Jalan Tun Razak are now being quarantined after contact with a member who tested positive for Covid-19 yesterday, Malaysiakini reported today.

“The staff who had close contact have been sent to the Ministry of Health (facilities) for testing while all other staff have had to go for swab tests," the club's management told the newsportal.

There were, however, no details about when the infected member was last at the club.

Announcements on the Royal Selangor Golf Club’s Facebook stated that “All sporting activities are suspended for three days from Oct 28 to 30.”

“Main lounge will remain open for beverage services only,” the club stated.

Deep sanitisation will also be carried out from Oct 28 to 30.
