The East Malaysian state has been recording the most cases in Malaysia’s latest wave of the Covid-19, with total confirmed cases of 14,519 out of 30, 889 in the country since the pandemic arrived.

Malaysia reported 799 new cases yesterday with Sabah seeing 466 cases.

The Malaysian government is going all out to stem the rise in cases in especially Sabah and red zones throughout the country.

Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin yesterday announced that Budget 2021 will provide allocations to curb the spread of Covid-19 as the Putrajaya steps up its battle against the pandemic.

He also visited the Royal Malaysian Air Force in Subang yesterday to inspect preparations for sending critical supplies to Sabah and Sarawak to fight the Covid-19 pandemic.
