Two killed as helicopters collide and crash in Melawati

AMPANG (Nov 8): Two helicopters Tcrashed near Sekolah Kebangsaan Tamil Taman Melawati in Taman Melawati this morning, reported Free Malaysia Today.

The Fire and Rescue Department said two of the four on board were killed. 

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department chief Norazam Khamis said they received a distress call at 11.47am, before deploying three rescue teams to the scene.

Witnesses said on social media that they saw the two helicopters  flying above the Bukit Tabur quartz ridge before one of them began swirling wildly in the air for about three minutes. Videos and photos posted by the witnesses in various social media have gone viral.
