KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 9): Public who refill petrol at petrol stations are required to scan the QR code using the MySejahtera app, even if they are not entering the convenient shops, reported China Press.

The Chinese daily, quoted Bukit Aman Criminal Investigation Department deputy director (investigation/legal) Mior Faridalathrash Wahid, said those who are caught without scanning the MySejahtera app will be fined RM1,000 for breaching conditional movement control order SOPs.

Mior said the requirement is for tracking purposes.

“If there are any cases happening in that area, and members of the public did not scan using the MySejahtera app, how is the police going to track them?” he explained.
