PETALING JAYA (Nov 27): Private kindergartens registered with the Education Ministry and are not located within areas under conditional movement control order (CMCO) can reopen immediately, The Star reported today.

According to a letter issued by Education Ministry yesterday which was “sighted” by the daily, the ministry “decided that private kindergartens under our purview, in states and areas where the conditional MCO has ended, as well as locations not subject to the conditional MCO, will be allowed to resume operations”.

“This notification is effective from the date this letter is issued and is subject to the conditional MCO’s due date of each state or area, which will be decided by the National Security Council (NSC) from time to time,” said the letter which was signed by Education Ministry deputy director-general (school operation sector) Adzman Talib.
