Malaysia adds 1,212 new Covid-19 cases today, with three more deaths

KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 30): Malaysia today reported 1,212 new Covid-19 cases, pushing total confirmed infections in the country to 65,697, according to the Ministry of Health (MoH).

Three new deaths related to the pandemic were also reported, bringing the nationwide death toll to 360.

Selangor topped the list with the most Covid-19 cases today, at 402, followed by Sabah with 326 cases and Negeri Sembilan with 141 cases.

Meanwhile, 2,112 Covid-19 patients recovered today, surpassing the number of new infections. This means total recoveries now stand at 54,579 or 83% of overall cases.

With the jump in recoveries, active cases, which carry high transmission risks, dropped to 10,578 from yesterday's 11,481.
