Woman killed after car plunges from Penang condo carpark

PENANG (Dec 3): A 49-year-old female was killed after a vehicle in a condominium car park here hit her and then plunged to the ground, reported China Press.

The incident occurred around 12.30pm today when the victim was walking to her parking lot and was hit by a car driven by a 71-year-old female, who is also a resident of the same condominium.

The driver then crashed through the car park barrier and plunged 20m to the ground along with the victim who was initially hit.

Meanwhile, the driver who was suffering from chest pains had been sent to hospital for medical treatment. 

The incident was recorded by the CCTV of the condominium.
