KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 5): Korean mega girl group Blackpink (pictured) will collaborate with YouTube Music to stage an exclusive online concert called The Show on Dec 27, reported The Malay Mail.

The K-pop quartet announced via videos inviting Blinks (that’s what their fans are called) to tune in on Dec 27 at 2pm KST (1pm Malaysian time) for “their first-ever livestream concert”.

Access to The Show can be obtained by buying a membership on Blackpink’s official YouTube channel, reported the news portal.

If you plan to become a Blink, you can buy a “Standard option” for RM120 which allows access to The Show, rebroadcast perks, and loyalty badges next to your name in the comments and livechat.

Meanwhile, the Plus option will set you back by RM160 but has “all the above rewards along with exclusive behind-the-scenes content”.

“Although it’s sad we can’t meet you guys in person, we’ll show you great performances to kick away all those sorrows,” said Blackpink member Rosé.

She added that her group will come up with “a show to remember” and that they were “working hard to make up for lost tour dates in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic”.
