PUCHONG (Dec 9): Bukit Hitam Development Sdn Bhd's Bromelia Phase 1 has achieved a take-up rate of 90% since its launch on Dec 8. Bukit Hitam is the property division of Ayer Holdings Bhd.

The gated and guarded landed stratified development is located on a 13.86-acre land in Bukit Puchong. With a gross development value of RM152 million, Bromelia Phase 1 offers 137 units of 2- and 2.5-storey terraced, cluster and semi-detached homes.

The terraced homes have built-ups from 1,798 to 2,271 sq ft, while the cluster homes and semidees are sized from 2,000 sq ft.

In a press release, Ayer group COO Jeannie Khoo (pictured) said she believes there is continued interest in landed properties that have good access and quality design, and offer value for money. The online preview launch gave registrants an online live streaming platform to view, select and book their choice units.

She reckoned that the community living design, attractive pricing from RM800,000, the freehold tenure as well as the incorporation of technology, such as the virtual reality show unit, e-brochure, digital scale models, have contributed to the positive response.

“We have taken the recent pandemic into perspective when incorporating the multi-functioning design to provide spaces that cater to lifestyle changes and new norm of working from home. [A] traffic-free jogging trail, landscaped garden with a children’s playground, basketball court, outdoor fitness, barbecue terrace and an elevated viewing deck provide our residents with ample social and community spaces,” she said.

“The majority of our buyers purchased the units for self-usage while a few of them purchased for investment purposes and we had repeat buyers besides first-time home owners.”
