KUALA LUMPUR (Jan 6): The building management of Maju Tower/Maju Junction Mall here is said to have informed tenants of Maju Tower about the presence of a Covid-19-positive individual at the building maintenance unit.

Maju Tower tenant Ipmuda Bhd said in a Bursa Malaysia filing today the diversified company's premises at the ninth floor of Maju Tower in Jalan Sultan Ismail here will be closed for three days from today (Jan 6) to Friday (Jan 8).

"This is to carry out the necessary sanitisation as a precautionary measure as the company had been informed by the building management of Maju Tower/Maju Junction Mall that a Covid-19-postive individual had been confirmed from the building maintenance unit," Ipmuda said.

Ipmuda's website indicates that the group is involved in, among others, the property development and construction businesses besides oil and gas operations.

At the time of writing, the building management of Maju Tower/Maju Junction Mall had not issued a statement in response to Ipmuda's Bursa filing.
