Local actor Aeril Zafrel has Covid-19 infection

KUALA LUMPUR (Jan 22): Actor Aeril Zafrel has announced that he has tested positive for Covid-19 infection.

In a report by The Star, Aeril stated in an Instagram post on Jan 21 that both his manager and him were found to be infected the day before after being tested.

In his post, the actor said that he went to his manager's house as the latter had a fever: “I went over because I'm usually the one who takes care of him when he's sick."

"It was getting late so I decided to just stay over. On Tuesday (Jan 19), I took him to get the swab test and I got myself tested too,” added Aeril.

"On Wednesday (Jan 20), my manager and I tested positive."

He is currently in self quarantine at home.

Aeril, 32, is known for his role as Inspektor Norman in the crime drama Mandatori.
