KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 4): Sime Darby Property Bhd’s foreign shareholding had risen to a five-month high of 9.757% as of Dec 31, 2020, according to the latest figures on its website.

The foreign shareholding percentage was the highest since 9.768% at the end of July 2020, said Sime Darby Property.

Over the past four years, the group reported its largest foreign shareholding percentage of 15.048% as at the end of January 2018.

As at Dec 31, 2020, Permodalan Nasional Bhd (PNB) held a 58.6% stake, while the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) and Kumpulan Wang Persaraan (Diperbadankan) held 9.7% and 6.3% respectively.

The group currently has a total of 6.8 billion issued shares, according to Bloomberg.

Shares in the property group were trading one sen or 1.75% higher at 58 sen as at the time of writing today, with a market capitalisation of RM3.94 billion.
