Covid-19: Indian celebrities Saif Ali Khan, Kamal Haasan get first dose of vaccine

KUALA LUMPUR (March 10): Indian superstars such as Saif Ali Khan and Kamal Haasan are getting the limelight as they took their first doses of the Covid-19 vaccine.

Actor Saif Ali was photographed by the media waiting in line at a vaccination centre even though he did not want any publicity about him being inoculated.

South Indian megastar and politician these days Haasan had a video of himself on Instagram being given a Covid-19 jab.

The Star reported a Times Of India translation of his posting, saying: “I got vaccinated at Sri Ramachandra Hospital. Everyone who cares not just about themselves but also about others should get the vaccination immediately. Today immunisation of body, next month vaccination against corruption. Get ready."

Other Indian movie stars who got their first shots include Rakesh Roshan, Hema Malini, Satish Shah, Johnny Lever and Shilpa Shirodkar.
