PETALING JAYA (March 12): Gamuda Land has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with 3Q Equestrian Centre (3Q Equestrian) to encourage more outdoor activities.

Held at the Gamuda Gardens Experience Gallery in Gamuda Gardens, the MoU was inked between Gamuda Land CEO Ngan Chee Meng and 3Q Equestrian Qabil Ambak.

Also present at the ceremony were Gamuda Land chief operating officer Aw Sei Cheh, Gamuda Land leisure and hospitality director Aaron Soo, 3Q Equestrian founder Tan Sri Mahamad Fathil and 3Q Equestrian director Datuk Quzier Ambak.

During the ceremony, Ngan said the collaboration is in anticipation of a growing demand for outdoor activities as Malaysia emerges from months of lockdowns.

The new partnership will now allow 3Q Equestrian to operate a horse-riding facility in Gamuda Gardens.

The facility includes a paddock for leisurely pony rides and a guided horse ride along a scenic 1.5km Garden Hill forest trail that features tiered landscapes, two cascading waterfalls, five lakes set with the rolling hills of northern Klang Valley.

"Our partnership with 3Q Equestrian reaffirms Gamuda Land's forward thinking commitment to placemaking in our developments, ensuring a thoughtful mix of residential, commercial and recreational components to build thriving, connected communities," added Ngan.

The rides cost RM200 per person for the public, and RM180 for members. There will also be a special offer of RM160 during the first month of operation of 3Q Equestrian.
