LBS Bina founder Datuk Sri Lim Bock Seng passes away

PETALING JAYA (March 28): LBS Bina Group Bhd founder and group’s former chairman Datuk Sri Lim Bock Seng has passed away today at the age of 90.

In a media statement today, LBS executive chairman Tan Sri Lim Hock San the company is deeply saddened by the loss of its founder Bock Seng, who was also Hock San's father. 

“Datuk Sri Lim Bock Seng was an inventive and visionary leader who, above all, lived the company’s core values with a true passion for our people and an exceptional commitment to our clients. 
He was an outstanding advocate for creating a culture of equality at LBS. His energy, drive, and leadership will be greatly missed,” he said.

Bock Seng was appointed as the chairman of LBS on December 6,2001. He has more than 50 years of experience in the construction and property development sectors and played crucial roles in driving the company’s growth.

The company announced his retirement as chairman on March 1, 2021.
