New Covid-19 cases remain above 2,000 for 17th day running, with Selangor again seeing higher number

KUALA LUMPUR (April 27): New Covid-19 infections in the country stood at 2,733 today, marking the 17th day where the daily figure was above 2,000 cases.

Selangor again recorded the highest number of new infections at 750, whereas Kelantan came in second with 484 cases and Sarawak in third at 432.

Kuala Lumpur saw 377 new cases today, according to Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.

This brought the total number of Covid-19 cases in the country to 398,451 since the beginning of the pandemic.
