PETALING JAYA (May 12): Kerjaya Prospek Group Bhd has appointed Tee Eng Tiong (pictured) as chief executive officer and executive director, effective today.

Prior to Tee’s appointment, he was the project director with Kerjaya Prospek (M) Sdn Bhd since 2015 and has over 18 years of experience in the construction sector, especially in high rise buildings.

Tee graduated from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia with a Masters in Civil Engineering for Construction and Management in 2003. He also holds a bachelor degree in Civil Engineering for Construction Management from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. He is a member of the Board of Engineers Malaysia.

In a media statement today, the company also announced the departure of Khoo Siong Kee, senior independent non-executive director, and Lim Kien Lai, independent non-executive director.

In addition, Datuk Tee Eng Ho, the former non-independent executive chairman, has been redesignated as the non-independent non-executive chairman and will continue to lead and guide the board. 

Datin Toh Siew Chuon and Tee Eng Seng will remain as the non-independent executive directors while Datuk Mohamed Razeek Md Hussain Maricar will continue to be the independent non-executive director.
