KUALA LUMPUR (May 20): Econpile Holdings Bhd announced that today it has received a piling and foundation works award for a service apartment project along Jalan Raja Chulan for RM64.25 million.

Econpile’s wholly-owned unit Econpile M Sdn Bhd yesterday received a letter of award dated May 11 from GDP Architects Sdn Bhd for and on behalf of Armani Hartajaya Sdn Bhd for the project, it said.

It involves the design, construction and completion for Package 1 – Secant Bored Pile Wall and Package 2 – Foundation Bored Pile and B2/B1/Level 1 Slab for a mixed development comprising an office tower with a two-storey basement carpark and a service apartment block with podium car park at Lot 297 and Lot 20016, Seksyen 63, Jalan Raja Chulan, Kuala Lumpur.

“The overall duration of the project is 16 months and works are expected to commence in August 2021.

“The project is expected to contribute positively to the revenue and earnings of the company from the financial year ending June 30, 2022 onwards,” it added.

Shares of Econpile went up one sen or 2.3% to 44.5 sen at noon market break, valuing the piling company at RM630.79 million.
