PETALING JAYA (May 21): S P Setia will be unveiling new phases of Alocasia semidee project in Setia Tropika township development in Johor Bahru with an estimated gross development value of RM58 million by end of this year.

The upcoming phase three and four, comprises 40 units of freehold double-storey semidees with land area measuring 40ft by 90ft and built-ups of 3,005 sq ft. The average selling price of Alocasia homes is around RM1.35 million. 

“The first and second phase of Alocasia which was launched in early May is well-received and 100% of its non-bumi units were taken up over one weekend,” said S P Setia in the media statement.

Although the launch of new phases is in the year-end, interested buyers could register their interest with the developer. 

The four bedrooms and five bathrooms tropical-themed Alocasia homes are designed to accommodate multigenerational families comfortably under one roof with smart home features included. 

Alocasia is one of the residential developments of the 740-acre Setia Tropika township in Kempas, Johor Bahru which carries a GDV of RM4.17 billion.

In the central region, S P Setia said the Anggun 3 series semidee development in Bandar Kinrara, Puchong also received good market response. The recent launch on May 8 has seen 80% of its units booked.

The double-storey freehold semidees come with a built-up of 3,040 sq ft, with an average price of RM2.2 million, the development has a GDV of RM61 million. 

“Due to the good response, two more phases for the Anggun Series have been planned by the end of the year. Additionally, Legasi 4, a double-storey terrace, has also been slated to launch within Bandar Kinrara as well,” said the developer, adding that the launching date will be announced later.

With a GDV of RM3 billion, the 1,904-acre mature township of Bandar Kinrara Puchong currently has 73,500 homes in total of RM3 billion and will be expected to complete in 2025.
