KUALA LUMPUR (May 24): In compliance with the government's latest standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the Movement Control Order 3.0 (MCO 3.0), Genting Malaysia Bhd's Resorts World Genting (RWG) will be limiting its operating hours from 8am to 8pm, effective May 25 until June 7, 2021.

RWG's casino will also be temporarily closed from today until further notice.

RWG said in a statement that the change in operation hours applies to all of its hotels, food and beverage outlets, shopping malls, retail outlets and other facilities.

Meanwhile, some of its offerings may not be available during this period.

"We will continue to fully adhere to the strict SOPs issued by the government throughout the resort and we seek our guests' cooperation to do the same," it said.

At 4.06pm, Genting Malaysia rose four sen or 1.51% to RM2.69, valuing the group at RM15.74 billion.
