KUALA LUMPUR (May 25): Prasarana Malaysia Bhd will give RM1,000 in compensation to all 213 victims of last night's Light Rail Transit (LRT) train collision, its chairman Datuk Seri Tajuddin Abdul Rahman said.

According to a Free Malaysia Today report, he told a press conference today that 64 passengers are still being hospitalised, with six in critical condition and three requiring ventilators.

Tajuddin also said Prasarana will cover the medical costs of every victim until they are discharged.
