PETALING JAYA (June 23): An iron scaffolding being hoisted by a crane came loose and fell on seven cars that were parked at a nearby construction site in Pudu yesterday, reported FMT.

According to the report, seven emergency medical rescue services teams and a fire rescue tender machine were deployed to the site after the Kuala Lumpur Fire Department Operations Centre received an emergency call at 9.53am.

The seven damaged vehicles were two Proton Sagas, a Proton Wira, a Mitsubishi Pajero, a Proton Iriz, a Perodua Myvi and a Honda City.

Fortunately, there was no one at the site when the incident happened, the rescue operation ended in less than an hour.
