PETALING JAYA (June 30): Property developer Mah Sing Group Bhd achieved property sales of RM650.5 million in the first five months this year, and hit 40% of its RM1.6 billion sales target in 2021.
The developer announced the performance in its 29th Annual General Meeting (AGM) which was held virtually today and the management is confident of ramping up towards achieving the target through several planned launches in the second half this year.
Amongst the upcoming planned launches include Tower E of M Vertica, Cheras, remaining phases of M Arisa, Sentul, Phase 2 of Cerrado Suites and Tower B Sensory Residences at Southville City in Bangi, Phase 3 of M Aruna and M Panora in Rawang, M Senyum in Bandar Baru Salak Tinggi, Sepang and double storey link homes in Meridin East, Johor Bahru.
Mah Sing founder and group managing director Tan Sri Leong Hoy Kum (pictured) said that they are seeing gradual improvement in sentiment towards the property market early this year, which can be observed through the positive sales figures in their first five months.
“We have the benefit of the right price point and locations, coupled with our effective marketing campaigns. We hope homebuyers will take the opportunity to leverage the current low interest rate environment and the extended Home Ownership Campaign by the government to lock in their dream homes,” he said in the media statement today.
He added that the four-phase exit strategy under the National Recovery Plan (NRP) announced by the Government recently has provided a clear path towards the country’s economic recovery.
Meanwhile, he also noted that Mah Sing Healthcare, the business unit of Mah Sing Group will see two more new production lines completed at its highly automated factory in Kapar, ready to take on more orders which are coming in with another six production lines scheduled to come on-stream in the third quarter of this year. Currently, four production lines are in operations.
