LRT3 construction site scaffolding collapses at Bukit Tinggi, one remains buried

KLANG (July 29): The metal scaffolding of the LRT3 construction site in Bandar Bukit Tinggi, Klang has collapsed today, reported Malaysiakini.

The incident occurred at 2:45pm.

One person remains stuck under the rubble, according to the Fire and Rescue Department officers at the scene in front of the Premiere Hotel along Jalan Langat.

In a statement today, the department added that two others have been rescued and are injured.

“As of now, two victims who are Bangladesh citizens have been rescued. One victim remains buried under the iron. The department is still in the process of rescuing the victim,” it said.
