KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 3): Haily Group Bhd said it is resuming on-site construction activities on three project sites in Johor from today after receiving approval from the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI).

The three project sites are located in Taman Ungku Tun Aminah, Taman Nusa Sentral and Bandar Jaya Putra, the building contractor said in a bourse filing.

Under the Full Movement Control Order, the construction industry was not regarded as an essential service.

"In this respect, Haily Group's on-site construction activities were suspended. The group on June 2 submitted its application to the MITI for resumption of works," said the group yesterday.

Meanwhile, another nine out of 20 on-site construction activities are still suspended, the group said.

Haily's share price slipped 2.5 sen or 3.94% to 61 sen yesterday, giving the group a market capitalisation of RM107.93 million.
