SINGAPORE (Aug 4): The Standard hotel (pictured) is set to open in Singapore in 2023, along Orange Grove Road and opposite Shangri-La Singapore.

The Standard, Singapore, will comprise 143 rooms and feature the brand’s signature restaurant, nightlife vibrancy, an infinity pool and pool bar within a botanical courtyard.

This marks the expansion of the hospitality brand into Singapore, following its venture into Thailand where The Standard, Hua Hin, is set to open in November 2021, and The Standard, Bangkok Mahanakhon, is set to open in 2022.

The hotel will be developed by Invictus Developments, a boutique real estate investment company owned by the family of Indonesian businessman Bachtiar Karim.
