PUTRAJAYA (Aug 20): The first batch of 200,000 doses CanSino Covid-19 vaccine from CanSino Biologics has arrived at Kuala Lumpur International Airport around 7.50am today, said Ministry of Health (MoH) in a social media posting.
Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (Mosti) chief secretary Datuk Siti Hamisah Tapsir and Ministry of Health chief secretary Datuk Mohd Shafiq Abdullah were there witnessing the arrival of the finished vaccine doses from Beijing, China.
This is part of the 3.5 million doses CanSino Covid-19 vaccine which will be delivered to Malaysia by phases.
MoH, in its Facebook posting, said the CanSino is a single-dose vaccine and it will be used as one of the vaccines under National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme (PICK).
