PETALING JAYA (Sept 13): Manufacturer-turned-property developer PRG Holdings Bhd will be launching the last tower of Embayu @ Damansara West in the next two months, following good response received from the first two towers.

The first two towers – Tower A and B, have seen 80% of the 455 condominium units snapped up after the project was unveiled last year.  The units’ built-ups range from 1,000 sq ft to 1,173 sq ft.

In a media statement today, PRG Holdings Bhd said the final tower (Tower C) will be offering 195 condominium units, with built-ups ranging between 900 sq ft and 1,000 sq ft.

The resort-themed Embayu @ Damansara West sits on a 6.5-acre leasehold land, offering a total of 650 residential units priced from RM450,000. The project carries a gross development value of RM267 million.

PRG managing director for property and construction Datuk Alex Wee Cheng Kwan said buying interest has remained strong for properties located within matured areas, for instance Damansara West, which is expected to be the next exciting growth area following the Kota Damansara and Ara Damansara townships.

“Taking into account the healthy interest in our project, we expect to hit a 100% take-up rate for Embayu @ Damansara West before our targeted completion date in Dec 2022.

"Moving forward, building affordable housing with quality finishing will continue to be the focus for PRG. We shall announce our upcoming project soon, and it shall be done either through land acquisition or joint-venture,” he added.

He noted that easy accessibility is another advantage of Damansara West, as the area is connected to major highways such as Damansara-Shah Alam Elevated Expressway (DASH), Guthrie Corridor Expressway (GCE), New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE) and Federal Highway.

Besides Kota Damansara and Ara Damansara, Embayu is also close to Shah Alam, DASH’s Subang 2 interchange, Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport at Subang. It is thus surrounded by mature amenities such as Help University, Giant Hypermarket, Star Avenue Mall, Segi University & Colleges and Thomson Medical Centre.
