Seri Perdana’s renovation costs RM30m, PM says it’s for safety and preserve country’s image

KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 28): The prime minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob explained that the renovation works at Seri Perdana are important to ensure the safety and uplift the country’s image, reported The Vibes.

The report said the renovation works cost RM30 million, improvements including electrical wiring and mechanical work, upgrading air-conditioning systems, structural modifications and replacement of old furniture.

In a parliamentary reply to Datuk Mahfuz Omar (Pokok Sena-PH) today, the prime minister said the renovation work is now completed 60%.
