PETALING JAYA (Jan 13): UEM Sunrise Bhd has launched “Happy Duo Duo” Chinese New Year campaign that will give away prizes worth up to RM622,222.

Running from Jan 12 to March 22 this year, UEM Sunrise will also be organising a series of digital activities, promotions and festive-themed videos along with the campaign.

Homebuyers who sign their sale and purchase agreements during the campaign period will automatically join the “Happy Duo Duo Book, Sign & Win” contest and stand a chance to win prizes worth up to RM622,222, which include kitchen appliances and electronic items. Other benefits include free legal fees, stamp duty exemptions as well as specific goodies for selected participating developments.

“Customary to every Chinese New Year, we will celebrate happiness, the joy of coming together and being with our loved ones again, especially after almost two years of being in lockdown. This campaign celebrates and pays homage to the little Chinese New Year traditions that we hold so dearly,” said UEM Sunrise CEO, Sufian Abdullah in a press statement on Thursday (Jan 13).

Featured developments under the campaign include KAIA Heights, Serene Heights; Radia Bukit Jelutong; Allevia Mont’Kiara; Solaris Parq; and Residensi AVA, Kiara Bay in the Central region.

Those in the Southern region include Senadi Hills; The Maris; Bayu Angkasa; Serassa Greens; Estuari Gardens; Teega Suites; Almãs Suites; Aspira ParkHomes; Aspira LakeHomes; Aspira Gardens; and Aspira Square.

The company’s developments in the Forest Heights township in Seremban are also up for grabs, including Broadhill Residence, Begonia Forest Heights, Arden Hill, and Aster.

The campaign will also lend support to protect the local tiger during its Lunar year, with UEM Sunrise donating RM100 (capped at RM22,200) with every completed participation at the ‘Send Happy Tiger Home Safely’ contest on the company website to the Malayan Tiger Conservation Programme by The Malaysian Conversation Alliance for Tigers.

“On top of celebrating happiness during this Chinese New Year, it is apt that we continue to forge ahead with our sustainability efforts, this time raising the awareness of tiger conservation initiatives in the country.

“It is widely known that the Malayan tigers left in the wild have been classified as an endangered species. Being a national symbol for our country, it is essential that we understand and make efforts to preserve them and their habitat, which is the C.H.I.E.F. way, an acronym of our core values, Caring, Honest, Involved, Enthusiastic, Fun-loving,” added Sufian.
