KUALA LUMPUR (Jan 20): SkyWorld Development Group has once again been recognised as the Best Employer in Malaysia 2021 at the Kicentric’s award, the fourth time the city developer have received the recognition. 

“Winning the Best Employer in Malaysia for the fourth time is definitely the best achievement for SkyWorld to start the new year. This award belongs to every SkyRians who always stay rooted to our core values and helping SkyWorld shape its strong workplace culture,” said SkyWorld Development Group chief executive officer Lee Chee Seng in a media statement.  

“We have been innovatively creating a happier and healthier workplace for our people to thrive and this award is truly a testament to our purpose-driven culture. By providing an attractive platform to learn, share and invest, we believe that we can transform our people and create a positive impact in today’s world.”

The award ceremony was held at Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur.

Acknowledging that employees are the most valuable asset, Lee added that the company, while being affected by the pandemic has continued to maintain its sustenance in safeguarding the livelihood of its employees. 

“To ensure employees’ well being are taken care of, there were no pay cuts throughout the pandemic, and in addition to that, we also handed out bonuses, twice last year. With that, we took care of their worries and build their confidence so they can focus and maximize their productivity.

“Back in SkyWorld, we continuously develop strong business strategies to keep our business going and emerge stronger during this hard time. At the same time, we constantly look for ways to encourage and motivate our people to stay united to weather the storm.”
