Kian Joo Can Factory Berhad former managing director Datuk See Teow Chuan passes away at 81

PETALING JAYA (March 5): Former managing director of Kian Joo Can Factory Berhad Datuk See Teow Chuan passed away on March 1, 2022.

He was a founding member of Kian Joo and held the managing director position from 1966 to 2012. During his tenure, he oversaw the growth of Kian Joo to become one of the biggest packaging companies in Southeast Asia. 

According to family members, See had a passion for contributing to underprivileged communities through his involvement in various community and educational institutions. 

As president of Selangor and WP Anxi Association from 2011 to 2017 and later its Honorary President (Lifetime), he initiated and sponsored an annual program to bring local youths to Anxi county for cultural and heritage workshops.

He was also the vice president of both Chong Hwa Independent High School (2019-to date) and SRKJ (C) Chong Hwa (2019).
