PETALING JAYA (April 11): Tropicana Corp Bhd’s Aster Heights has been fully taken up since its launch in December last year. The project is the first residential precinct in the Tropicana Uplands integrated township in Gelang Patah, Johor.

The achievement comes as home seeker and international investor interest rise with the reopening of economic sectors and borders, pointing the way to brighter prospects for property in the year ahead.

Tropicana managing director of marketing and sales Joanne Lee said: “Our Southern projects constitute a key market for Tropicana, appealing to both domestic home seekers and international purchasers from Singapore and abroad, and I would like to thank the Tropicana Uplands team for the commitment and passion they have put into delivering full take-up for Aster Heights.

Aster Heights comprises 193 double-storey terraced homes with built-ups starting from 1,446 sq ft. The units feature practical layouts designed for contemporary lifestyles, which is ideal for multigenerational families and upgraders, as well as catering for consistent demand of landed property in the country’s southern growth corridor.

“The project aims to give homeowners the perfect setting where life blooms. This means everything is in place for residents, including contemporary designs, spacious layouts and a fully extended kitchen, which is in line with the company’s unique development DNA that focuses on redefining the art of living in all we do,” said Lee.

Tropicana Uplands is a 244-acre community that is strategically located in Iskandar Malaysia’s Flagship Zone B and anchored by Summit Commercial Hub, the township’s first commercial phase that is set towards economic growth and footfall in the area.

Designed for post-pandemic needs, Tropicana Uplands’ residential spaces feature 16 acres of Central Park and landscape garden, fostering connections to nature while jogging tracks onsite encourage healthy and active lifestyles.

Families will also appreciate the presence of nearby educational pull factors such as Tenby International School and EduCity Iskandar. Once completed, Tropicana Uplands will comprise residential districts, commercial spaces and serviced apartment developments. The township also offers prime connectivity with proximity to the Skudai-Pontian Highway, while the Second Link Expressway facilitates travel to and from Singapore.

In addition, home seekers who are interested in settling down in Tropicana Uplands can look forward to the 70-acre Azalea Heights, consisting of 628 double-storey terraced homes, which will be launched in the third quarter of this year.
