KUALA LUMPUR (April 18): Econpile Holdings Bhd has received a letter of award for a RM23 million contract to undertake foundation and basement works for an industrial building in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

In a Bursa Malaysia filing on Friday (April 15), the construction engineering company said its wholly-owned subsidiary Econpile (M) Sdn Bhd received the award for the project from CJ Energy Solutions Sdn Bhd.

The job, to start on April 18 this year, is expected to take nine months to complete.

“The project is expected to contribute positively to the revenue and earnings of the company from the financial year ending June 30, 2022 onwards,” it said.

Econpile shares closed unchanged at 30 sen on Friday, valuing the construction company at RM425.13 million.
