• Kith & Kin founder and director Kenny Sim: This is a good initiative by EdgeProp to act as intermediary to connect participant agencies for data sharing.

PETALING JAYA (Aug 12): Updated data is one of the most important things for real estate negotiators to close a deal with a potential buyer, and Kith & Kin Realty Sdn Bhd knows this really well when it signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to collaborate with EdgeProp recently.

The MoU was inked recently between Kith & Kin founder and director Kenny Sim, and EdgeProp managing director Alvin Ong.

The collaboration is expected to benefit Kith & Kin’s negotiators as they will be able to access up-to-date real estate transaction data, said Sim.

“This is a good initiative by EdgeProp to act as intermediary to connect participant agencies for data sharing. Such a move allows our people to access the latest transacted data even before it is updated in Napic (National Property Information Centre),” he said.

Sim said it took less than a week for Kith & Kin to decide to be part of this collaboration, which will arm its negotiators with the advantage of more accurate information to present to their clients.

“In order for these collaborations to be a success in long run, EdgeProp.my plays a vital role as intermediary to get all the collaborative partners to continually update the data,” he said.

"Kith & Kin's decision to collaborate with EdgeProp reflects its drive towards continuous  innovation," said Ong, adding that the collaboration would give the agency a boost in the fast-moving real estate playfield.

Kith & Kin, which was founded in 2020, provides professional real estate brokerage services for newly launched projects, as well as the subsale and rental market.

“We have started Kith & Kin with big dreams. We want to be the game changer in the industry by turning our dreams into goals and actionable strategies,” Sim said.

Despite the pandemic, Sim noted their achievements have been far beyond their wildest dreams from the start.

“We believed in our dreams passionately, showed resilience, learned from our mistakes, and got back up when we were knocked down,” he said.

Moving forward, Sim said the company is working to create a more advanced submission system and platform, integrated with communication and training tools.

“We are transforming our operations so that we can continue to empower our Kins to deliver value to our clients,” he added.

EdgeProp is a portal that offers various marketing services for real estate agents to advertise their listings and concluded deals.
