• The Seminole Beach estate is located in an exclusive part of North Palm Beach with over 520ft of ocean frontage

KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 25): Co-founder of software giant Oracle, Larry Ellison, is selling one of his mansions located in sunny Florida.

The Seminole Beach estate, located in an exclusive part of North Palm Beach with over 520ft of ocean frontage, is listed at US$145 million (RM649 million), according to a report by TopTenRealEstateDeals.com.

The Tuscan-style mansion was constructed back in 1998 on 8.5 acres of land and “includes 15,514 sq ft, seven bedrooms, pool, chef's kitchen, tennis courts, home theatre, wine room, a six-car garage, and a guest suite”, stated the real estate website.

Ellison paid US$80 million for the property in 2021, with the listing noting that it is “convenient to both Orlando and Miami” with “quick access to the private terminals at Palm Beach International Airport via a helicopter, which can take off and land directly from the property”.

Palm Beach has been known to be one of the most lucrative real estate markets in the US with “prices up over 50% since 2020 and homes usually selling in less than two months”, stated the report.

Ellison reportedly made his US$100 billion fortune as the CEO of Oracle Corp. According to Forbes, he gave up his CEO post in 2014 after 37 years at the helm. He joined Tesla's board in December 2018, after purchasing three million Tesla shares earlier that year.

Palm Beach is “home to America’s old and new money, including Joseph Kennedy, Marjorie Merriweather Post and Donald Trump”.

Ellison owns homes all over the US, including Hawaii, Lake Tahoe, Los Angeles, Rhode Island, San Francisco and Malibu.
