PETALING JAYA (Sept 1): The Subang Jaya City Council (MBSJ) recently started a weekly live engagement session dubbed Subang Jaya Coffee Talk with stakeholders in the municipality.

According to a report by The Star today, the coffee talk enables participants to post questions and views during the sessions held on Tuesdays at 12.30pm and live-streamed on MBSJ’s Facebook page.

“The weekly sessions will feature an MBSJ official or guest to speak on a variety of topics.

“The topics include information, initiatives and best practices related to lifestyle, security and urban aspects as well as economic, social and environmental matters,” Subang Jaya mayor Datuk Johary Anuar said in a speech at MBSJ’s full board meeting, reported the daily.

Subang Jaya Coffee Talk has so far featured MBSJ councillor Kamarul Hisham Yeop Hashim, Johary himself, and Fadhli Abdullah from Tenaga Nasional Bhd, who educated the public on the installation of smart meters.
