• "The tools provided by the EdgeProp platform system, on top of our enterprise resource planning system, will allow our agents to achieve the goal of closing deals easily and conveniently.”

PETALING JAYA (Sept 12): The signing of collaboration between EdgeProp and WEREG Properties Sdn Bhd last month is expected to strengthen the branding of the agency.

According to CEO of WEREG Properties, Ethan Leong, the partnership will further enhance the efficiency on data and information sharing among the agents in the agency internally and externally.

Leong said this will also enhance its IT features to bring maximisation of end results.

“We are confident the tools provided by the EdgeProp platform system, including the exposure of the listing advertisements to the public, mapping system and the most updated data sharing on the transacted deals, on top of our enterprise resource planning system, will allow our agents to to achieve the goal of closing deals easily and conveniently,” he said.

With the collaboration, he added, WEREG Properties is expecting to reach more agents and to expedite its business development plan and expansion of branches throughout the country.

Founded by Leong and managing director Wilson Law in 2019, the agency has more than 500 registered negotiators and an impressive track record with property developers and industry leaders.

With more than 15 years’ experience in the real estate industry, Leong has been playing an important role in the Malaysia Institute of Estate Agents (MIEA) as a councillor, committee member and educator since 2010.

WEREG Properties, which has been growing fast in the past three years despite the pandemic, aspires to offer a full suite of real estate brokerage services, representing clients in a broad spectrum of property segment.

Leong said the company’s mission is to empower all “Weregians” to achieve financial freedom through real estate.

WEREG Properties, he added, also embraces new technology, providing the best support to all Weregians with state-of-the-art platform to learn, work and play.

“And we believe, with a right platform, and unstoppable momentum, WEREG Properties will spearhead the real estate industry in the upcoming years,” he said.

EdgeProp managing director Alvin Ong said the collaboration will drive WEREG Properties’ business to greater heights in this fast-changing real estate market.

“Through partnerships with forward-looking agencies such as WEREG Properties, we aspire to raise the standards of the property industry in Malaysia,” he said.

Ong said we have an imperfect market where timely and credible information and transaction data are lacking, not because of its unavailability, but lack of accessibility.

“The real estate negotiators are the most essential piece in our mission to make information, data, and analysis available to all buyers and investors, hence the partnership,” he added.
