• The company takes pride in catering to multigenerational buyers
  • “Gold class” property for sustainability and continuity

PETALING JAYA (Oct 26): Leading property developer of Bandar Bukit Puchong, Bukit Hitam Development Bhd (BHDB), launched its on-site semi-detached show units for its landed development, Bromelia Bukit Puchong.

The company, which is a subsidiary of Ayer Holdings Bhd, has already seen a take-up rate of almost 100% for Bromelia, which comprises two- and 2.5-storey of terrace, cluster and semi-d units.

The group COO of Ayer, Jeannie Khoo said the buyers come from a good demographic mix, consisting of first-time buyers and upgraders.

“I think the beauty of Bukit Puchong is that we have families that are intergenerational and some of them are siblings… they prefer to stay in a township where there are inter-connectiveness and the family’s relationships can be continued,” Khoo told EdgeProp.

She added that this creates a kind of family bonding that Ayer, as it is celebrating 115 years in business, understands – the legacy and continuity of relationships in life.

As for how Bromelia could cater to these multigenerational group of buyers, Khoo said the location and the growth prospect of Bromelia will contribute to continuity, while these homes are of a “gold class” standard.

“I think we are the gold class, it’s because it is freehold land and I think this works very well for us and to our purchasers because this allows them to practice the continuity,” she said.

Foreseeing Ayer’s properties to appreciate significantly in 10 years, Khoo said this makes them a perfect investment for buyers and something to pass on to the next generation.

“As you know, property normally doubles up in terms of purchase price by the time its 10 years. So, if you buyers, particularly Malaysians, would like to have homes that you can pass on to the next generation, buying properties located in Puchong will be the perfect choice,” she said.

She added that the scarcity of freehold land and large parcels of land here will make Bandar Bukit Puchong a rare catch.

“We have one of the last few largest interconnected parcels of land in Puchong, which are about more than 300 acres of undeveloped freehold land. So, for those who want to own a home, having freehold properties will ensure the continuity and to pass the legacy, your home, to your next generation,” she noted.

Bromelia’s semi-d units consist of two sizes – 40’x80’ and 60’X60’, with built-up from 3,585 sq ft to 3,930 sq ft.

The 40’x80’ units are made up of six types – A, A1, A2 with a built-up of 3,900 sq ft comprising 5+1 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms; and B, B1, B2 with a built-up of 3,585 sq ft comprising 4+1 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms, while the 60’x60’ has a built-up of 3,930 sq ft with 4+1 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. All units have spacious lounge and family area.

Bromelia residents will enjoy several facilities which include a Central Park, basketball court, playground, BBQ area, elevated viewing deck, Garden Pavillion, jogging trail, outdoor fitness area and Pergola.

Expected to be completed by end-2024, Bromelia is strategically located and easily accessible via Lebuhraya Damansara Puchong (LDP), South Klang Valley Expressway (SKVE), the North-South Expressway Central Link (ELITE) and Maju Expressway (MEX).

“Our location is accessible by LDP just before the toll, so it’s perfect. Cyberjaya and KLIA can be reached via LDP as well. If you want to go to the city centre, you can go through Sri Kembangan or MEX Highway and the other portions of LDP will take you to Subang Jaya and Sunway and so on,” she said.

Khoo said the residents of Bromelia will enjoy the proximity of education institutions such as  SJK(C) Han Ming, Sekolah Agama Bukit Puchong, Sekolah Kebangsaan Puchong Utama, Taylors International School and many more.

“This provides the integration of having education, work and life. Bukit Puchong is at the growth corridor… the reason I say that is very few people will want to stay away from schools and having to travel to their offices… so they prefer to have the work and life quite integrated,” she said.
