• Bina Puri said there will be no suspension of trading of its shares on Tuesday (Nov 8), after the group submitted its annual report for FY22 to Bursa Malaysia Securities on Monday.

KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 8): Bina Puri Holdings Bhd has reported a variance of more than 10% between its audited financial statements (AFS) for the year ended June 30, 2022 (FY22) and its unaudited financial results for the fourth quarter ended June 30, 2022 (4QFY22).

This is in respect of the net profit after tax and non-controlling interests of RM74.8 million in the AFS FY22 as announced on Monday (Nov 7), compared with the RM66.4 million in the 4QFY22 unaudited financial results announced on Aug 30.

The variance of 12.63% was mainly due to impairment loss of financial instruments, which had not been accounted for in the 4QFY22 unaudited financial results, the construction company said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia.

In a separate filing, Bina Puri said there will be no suspension of trading of its shares on Tuesday (Nov 8), after the group submitted its annual report for FY22 to Bursa Malaysia Securities on Monday.

The annual report included the annual audited financial statements together with the auditors' and directors' reports for FY22.
